Crazy last day proves Prem will be emptier place next year


The fun-filled last day of the Premiership yesterday not only provided us with bundles of excitement – it proved to us that it will be a much emptier place next season. Without greats like Michael Owen, Paul Scholes and Jamie Carragher – not to mention the imperious and magnificent Sir Alex Ferguson – the league will be bereft of mainstays that have given us many memories over the last twenty years. With 36 goal and 10 games, a 5-5 score-line we had never seen before and a couple of last minute goals highlighted the craziness of the league and how we will miss those key players at the centre.
