2015 NFL Mock Draft 1.2: 49ers go with a receiver

Sorry for the delay, folks.
In this Mock Draft I will be analysing the eleventh to twentieth picks in the Draft. You can read my blog post explaining what the Draft is in detail here and also my first Mock Draft that looks at the first five picks. The sixth to tenth picks will (probably) involve the Minnesota Vikings, Cleveland Browns (twice, second pick from Buffalo), New Orleans Saints, Miami Dolphins, San Francisco 49ers, Houston Texans, San Diego Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles – subject to trades.

Only a year out from being considered legitimate Super Bowl contenders, the Philadelphia Eagles are now in quite a sticky situation this offseason. They have some key players slated to hit free agency and a key defender who they might not be able to afford under the cap. Their secondary needs an overhaul and they will have to address other areas of the defense accordingly depending on how free agency goes. Philadelphia’s squad is ageing so a priority must be placed on building through the draft.

HIGH-flying wide receiver DeSean Jackson was controversially (but perhaps not surprisingly) released by the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday. Despite a career year on Chip Kelly’s offense, D-Jax now has to look for a new home in the NFL.
